Zen Damage

» Ariel-G, illustrations

another talented artist found at deviantart. Some really cool art at the gallery of this illustrator from Argentina

» Arario Gallery

cool artwork over there.

» Impressive

This time I’ll just leave the link, and let you discover it by yourselves. I really don’t know much about it, except that it’s japanese. The drawings in there seem simple at first, but their surreal themes are impressive. I really liked every single drawing over there.

windmill head

What a cool photo. By Yallume, go check her deviantart gallery for more photos like this one.

Daniel Araujo’s drawings

Another day, another deviant that is featured here. This time it’s Daniel Araujo, aka, justflyakite. You can see his drawings are purely anime, and has some cute little characters that reminded me of Pokemon (and I don’t like Pokemon). Nevertheless, he manages to be quite original, and his drawings are cute and funny.

I specially liked these two sketches: one and two

The art of Sarah Joncas

Sarah Joncas is a young and talented illustrator. Check out her artwork at her gallery full of freaky but quite interesting characters

Pitchi’s gallery

Lets go with one deviantart gallery. As I mentioned before, I love deviantart. It’s a place full of wonderful art, though you need to dig a bit to find it.

Today’s Pitchi’s turn. Check out his gallery of illustrations, heavily inspired by anime, and featuring some art inspired by dofus. It’s a pretty cool little gallery.

Kenichi Hoshine

From his website:

Kenichi Hoshine was born in Japan, raised in New Jersey and educated in New York.
His paintings have been exhibited in various cities around the world
including New York, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland.
He currently resides in New York.

He’s got a few paintings at his online gallery. They have a peculiar surreal style in some, and quite abstract in others. He doesn’t really have a lot of his work online, so I couldn’t say more, but the few paintings that he’s got on his site are pretty good. Worth a visit, if you ask me.

Fiona Staples characters

Check out some of the cool artwork of Fiona Staples, at her portfolio page, though I suggest you better visit her blog, constantly updated with some illustrations of hers, specially of character design. Pretty cool

Oh, almost forgot it, the link to her blog is goog-lucky.net

Willy Hwang, simple, amazing

Willy Hwang’s website is really too simple. But that’s ok, because the contents are what matter, and they are really good.

Check out his art venimarolka.com, where you’ll find a lot of concept art, some really interesting pieces, and some character concepts as well. It’s worth the visit.
