A cool little but awesome gallery of origami done with one dollar bills.
You’ll see an ugly site, but besides that, the contents are great. Check out some origami diagrams offered as pdf and gif files. Most of them can be done with a dollar bill, or a square piece of paper (depending on the diagram). They are not really complex, but it’s still quite cool.

Crease patterns have become much more popular in the last 15 years as a means of conveying origami. Part of the reason is that it’s a lot easier to draw a single crease pattern than to draw a detailed step-by step folding sequence. Part of the reason is that many origami composers (including myself) construct crease patterns as part of their design process, so the finished crease pattern comes “for free.”

Lowe-tech published a small flash animation on how to do some cool paper planes. Different styles, I’ll try them all later. I hope they fly. So, it’s a nice trick to know.

This is not origami, but you could pretend it is. Napkin folding is one of those things you can use to impress your parents-in-law, to prove you know some nice tricks.
