Learn how to draw
Drawspace is a site full of tips and drawing lessons. The goal, of course, is that you learn how to draw. Lessons are divided in three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Let me tell you, there’s a lot of resources there, it’s an amazing website. So, if you’re interested, go there. I promise you won’t regret it.

Amateur illustrator
I don’t think I’ve posted this before, and it isn’t even new. You probably know about amateurillustrator.com, and if you didn’t know about that site, you’ve been missing a lot.
It’s a community, it offers you galleries, forums, and articles. You can join as well, and start uploading your own work for the world to see.
There’s a lot of nice stuff there, a mine of art just like deviantart. Some examples: pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, pic 5
